Infiniti has begun production of the Q30 active compact in the Nissan plant in Sunderland, UK.
The Q30 is Infiniti's first compact model and is also the brand's first vehicle to be manufactured in Europe. As part of its global growth plan, Infiniti vehicles are now built in in four countries on three continents.
The Q30 is one model that benefits from the Renault-Nissan Alliance and Daimler strategic partnership. The car uses components of the Daimler compact car architecture. The Alliance and Daimler have been in a strategic partnership since April 2010 and collaborate on
13 key projects.
