Groupe Renault’s Sandouville plant in northwest France will build the next-generation light commercial vehicle for Nissan. The project, announced earlier this month, is yet another example of how the two companies are benefitting from their 17-year partnership. Production of the NV300 allows Renault to maximize its production capacity, while Nissan gets access to a quality van production site in the heart of Europe. Production of the Nissan NV300 is expected to increase the factory’s output by 100,000 vehicles between 2016-2026. The Nissan NV300 will be made on the same line as the new Renault Trafic.
