The Renault-Nissan Alliance is a strategic partner of the World Economic Forum, which recently gathered more than 640 influencers and decision-makers at the India Economic Summit 2016 in New-Delhi.
Under the theme “Fostering an Inclusive India through Digital Transformation”, the summit convened key civil society, private and public sector figures who led several discussions on topics critical to the region’s development.
Sumit Sawhney, Country Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Groupe Renault India, co-led a session called “Linking the Supply Chain System”. As a thought-leader in the Indian automotive industry, he shared his expertise on topics that covered distribution systems, processes and governance.
Christian Mardrus, Nissan SVP, Chairman of AMI Region and Guillaume Sicard, President, Nissan India Operations also participated in the summit.
The World Economic Forum is an independent international organization committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas. Incorporated as a not-for-profit foundation in 1971 and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, the Forum is widely seen as the most important business summit worldwide.
