The 2013 B4E Climate Summit gets underway in London

Although rain is falling (well, it is England and nearly summer!) that hasn’t dampened the atmosphere as the B4E Summit (Business for Environment) gets underway in London.

The Summit is bringing together world leaders, CEOs, senior executives and industry experts to share ideas and commit to solutions which address the most urgent environmental challenges facing the world today.

Under the theme Net Zero: Climate Positive, the Summit will be looking at ways in which companies, governments and individuals can change the way they operate to deliver vast customer carbon savings.

Mobility – both personal and corporate ¬– is a vital part of modern life but it’s impact on the environment is huge. And that’s why the Renault-Nissan Alliance is a Corporate Partner of the Summit.

We are here on two counts: we have three pure electric vehicles on display – a Renault Zoe, Renault Twizy and the New LEAF from Nissan – to show how zero tailpipe emissions is the answer to sustainable mobility.

And one of the key speakers at the Summit is Jerry Hardcastle, Nissan’s Global Chief Marketability Engineer and Technical Director Global Motorsport.

We will be blogging directly from the Summit for the next two days, so make sure you keep returning here to see what’s being said.
