The Renault-Nissan Alliance is helping customers turn their electric vehicles into carbon-neutral transportation.
Watch this video, which was produced in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), for more. The video was part of CNBC’s Responsible Business Television series which aired during Rio+20, the world’s largest environmental summit, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in June.

 

 
The two-minute video was produced in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) for their Responsible Business TV Series. The video  -- which includes footage of real-life Renault and Nissan customers from Lyon, France, to Encinitas, California -- aired on CNBC during the week of June 18 to coincide with Rio+20, the world’s largest environmental summit, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Though the Rio Environmental Summit had more downs than ups, it's still good to see real effort being done to help electric car owners further reduce their emissions. I never thought that was actually possible.
