Twizy shows its summer chic on the French Riviera

The Twizy has entered the summer spirit in the French resort of Saint-Tropez, where thirty of Renault's all-electric quadricycles have been decorated in the red and white colours of the town.
On the 1st of July, thirty of Saint-Tropez's leading shops and brands were given the keys to a custom-painted Twizy, in a ceremony officiated by the mayor. Keen to promote sustainable mobility, the town hall has backed Twizy as the vehicle of choice for zipping along the narrow streets of the old town, climbing up to the 17th-century citadel, or parking in small spaces.

As well as being all-electric, the Twizy offers a significant advantage in the summer: it lets occupants enjoy the breeze. Whether it comes with or without doors, the vehicle features open bodywork, providing much-needed ventilation in the warm temperatures of the French Riviera. Renault hopes that its high visibility in Saint-Tropez during tourist season will inspire visitors to try the Twizy for themselves.

For those unable to make it down south, Renault is organising test drives of the Twizy at its Z.E. Centre on the Ile Seguin near Paris. The centre has been decked out in summer colours to give it a more relaxed, holiday atmosphere, and the programme runs until the 9th of August.
