More charging infrastructure, more EVs on the road

I believe the electric vehicle charging infrastructure will improve with the growing popularity of such cars. The world is starting to realize that by adopting zero-emission mobility we will improve sustainability and ultimately, our own lives. Last August, the world exhausted a year’s equivalent of the Earth’s resources, and pollution is higher than ever before.

 

Currently, charging points are mainly located in city centers. There should be charging points on highways and motorways to allow for long-distance journeys and to appease range anxiety. There should also be charging points at parking lots, petrol stations, at work… These investments would definitely influence people’s decision to buy EVs.

 

If you want your driving to be truly zero-emission, you have to be aware where the energy that you use comes from. Today a large percentage of our energy still comes from non-renewable natural resources that have been transformed through processes that pollute our planet and the atmosphere. If we can get the most out of these non-renewable resources, and maximize the use of other resources with a smaller environmental footprint (“clean” the same time, our driving will be efficient as well as green.
