What questions would you ask Carlos Ghosn if you were alone with him in a car for 19 miles?
When British comedian, actor and TV presenter Robert Llewellyn (star of the Red Dwarf TV series) asked his Twitter followers – all 60,000 of them – he received more than 1,000 suggestions.
Llewellyn, who also presented TV’s Scrapheap Challenge - which many might think theultimate in recycling – is a great advocate of electric vehicles and has driven more electric miles than nearly anyone else in the UK.
He is also the driving force behind a new magazine called iCar – launched to coincide with what the publishers call “the most exciting time in the history of cars. Never has the automobile industry seen such an explosion of innovation on so many fronts."
Robert’s enthusiasm for electric vehicles and sustainable transportation shines during his short stint behind the wheel with Ghosn, CEO of Renault and Nissan. Llewellyn drove the CEO from the newly-opened Infiniti Centre in London’s Piccadilly to the airport and asked some of the questions he received from fans on Twitter.
The YouTube video is must-see TV for everyone interested in sustainable transportation – and for those of us who remember what it was like to own a mobile phone in the 1980s.
