Biography

Hidetoshi Imazu joined Nissan Motor in 1972, where he held multiple positions in Production Engineering and Body Assembly Engineering.

In 1999, he was transferred to Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd., and in 2002 became Senior Vice President in charge of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering Division and Supply Chain Management Division, with the responsibility of the Yokohama, Oppama, Tochigi, Kyushu and Iwaki Plants.

In 2006 he became Senior Vice President in charge of Vehicle Production Engineering and in 2007 Executive Vice President in charge of European Manufacturing operations and Supply Chain. He was appointed Member of the board of Directors of Nissan Motor in 2007 and EVP Manufacturing and SCM in 2009.

Imazu holds a degree from the faculty of Engineering at Kyushu Institute of Technology.
