Toshiyuki Shiga is the vice chairman of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (NML), where he is responsible for External and Government Affairs, Intellectual Asset Management, and Corporate Governance. He is also a representative director of NML.

 

Before assuming his current position in November 2013, Shiga was chief operating officer.

Mr. Shiga joined NML in 1976, and held a number of positions in sales operations in Asia and in Corporate Planning.

 

Shiga holds a degree from the faculty of economics at Osaka Prefecture University.
