Biography

Christian Mardrus is Alliance Executive Vice President for Renault-Nissan BV and the Alliance CEO Office, a role he was appointed to following the convergence of four major Alliance functions in April 2014: Engineering, Manufacturing & Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Human Resources.

In this new role, Mardrus serves as Secretary of the new Alliance Management Committee which was created on April 1. He continues to serve as Secretary of the Alliance Board and also continues to oversee the evolution of the Renault and Nissan partnership created in 1999.

Mardrus was appointed Managing Director of Alliance Global Logistics in June 2009 and added the Alliance CEO Office role in 2011.

Mardrus began his career in the French telecommunications industry before joining the Otis Elevator Group in 1991 after a period with consulting firm Peat Marwick.

He joined Renault in November 1999 as Director of Sales Information Systems before being appointed Vice President Service within the Sales and Marketing Division in February 2002. He was made Director of the company’s French Sales Network in July 2004.

In September 2008, he was appointed Chief Information Officer and joined Renault’s Management Committee as Senior Vice President.

Mardrus holds engineering degrees from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Corps Interministériel des Télécommunications in Paris.
