Nissan to introduce second electric vehicle model in Japan during FY2014
The e-NV200, the second all-electric model from Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., will be introduced in Japan during fiscal year 2014. The 100% electric commercial vehicle will launch in the Japanese market first before it goes on sale worldwide.

The electric van is Nissan’s second all-electric global model, following the world's best-selling EV, the Nissan LEAF. Production of the e-NV200 model will begin at Nissan’s plant in Barcelona, Spain in mid-2014.

In addition to offering the same interior spaciousness, utility and practicality of conventional vans, the e-NV200 produces zero CO2 emissions during operation. The vehicle also provides functions that extend business potential in numerous situations. These include the power supply function in the luggage area for outdoor activities or emergency power, and the advanced telematics system.
