The 3rd eTour Europe kicked off on Friday. This year, the unique event is being held from April 29 to May 8 across Europe, with 16 competitors set to travel 3,900 km (an average 430 km a day) through nine countries in electric vehicles.

 

The event gives a broad European public (55,000 visitors during breaks in countries) the chance to see that, through the constant improvement in range and the substantial roll-out of infrastructures, it has never been so easy to cover ever longer distances in an electric vehicle.

 

As a forerunner and leader in electric vehicles, Renault is hosting the French leg of the eTour on May 2 by opening the doors of its head office in Boulogne-Billancourt.
All the drivers will be able to refresh themselves while having a chat with Guillaume Berthier, Sales and Marketing Director, Electric Vehicles.
Meanwhile, the cars will take advantage of the break to recharge their batteries using the infrastructure on hand at the site, as across the entire Renault network.
