Sustainable mobility takes to the water with the 1st World Electric Boat Summit
The launch of the 1st World Electric Boat Summit is proof that electric vehicles are not just confined to the road: they are also taking to the water. Scheduled to be held on the 10th and 11th of October in Nice, France, the summit has been named PlugBoat, and reflects the growing interest in electric boat transportation.
 
Although the programme of the event is still to be finalised, it will include an overview of the current market and technologies, and a chance for attendees to exchange experiences and best practices. While electric boats have been around for well over 100 years, the drive towards sustainable mobility has combined with recent technological progress to create new interest in the market.
