Happy birthday dear Zoe, happy birthday to you...
As proud parents of a newly born, we love to take photos and movies of our offspring’s every breath from birth.

As the game-changing Renault ZOE electric vehicle has just celebrated its first birthday, Renault has decided to mark the occasion with a short film for us all to enjoy.

Sustainable mobility "is a matter of survival"
Alliance TV caught up with Suzana and Claudio Padua this morning in Davos – social entrepreneurs with the Schwab Foundation, and founders of IPÊ, the Institute of Ecological Research in Brazil, which promotes sustainable living through science, education and local engagement.

Nissan has already worked with them, via its funding for a programme with the World Wildlife Fund which enabled a group of US students to see for themselves sustainability projects in both the Atlantic Forest and the Amazon.

Clean Energy, Clean Cars, Clean Planet (by Carlos Ghosn)

Clean Energy, Clean Cars, Clean Planet (by Carlos Ghosn)

As leaders from the world’s largest economies converge in Northern Ireland for the upcoming G8 Summit, we must focus on two interconnected subjects of vital importance: clean energy and clean cars. In so doing, we will pave the way for a cleaner planet.

Today, we rely primarily on fossil fuels to meet our growing demand for energy. Three hydrocarbons -- oil, coal and natural gas – provide 87% of global energy demand. The scientific community overwhelmingly agrees that overuse of fossil fuels has contributed to global warming. These fuels are finite and non-renewable; by definition, they will not last forever.
