Carlos Ghosn moved to Japan in 1999.

In the fourth chapter of this special multi-part series, Carlos Ghosn recalls his first months managing Nissan in Japan and mapping out a plan to save and reshuffle Nissan's structure.

Starting in 1999, Carlos Ghosn made key decisions to strengthen the company and launched Nissan 180, the first post-recovery medium-term management plan. New chapters from this series will be posted here in coming weeks.
