Carlos Ghosn revived the GT-R sports car to inspire Nissan employees and help burnish the brand.

In this fifth chapter, Carlos Ghosn remembers when he travelled to China and created a historic joint-venture between Nissan and the state-owned automaker called Dongfeng.
 
Today, the company’s sales in China are a significant contributor to the global totals and, as Carlos Ghosn says "we see tremendous opportunity for low- and even zero-emission vehicles to be developed in the Chinese market."
 
The Alliance's CEO also recalls his first year as the leader of both Nissan Motor and Renault and when he announced the revival of an icon: the high-performance GT-R sports car.
