Paris Show spotlight shines on Alliance EVs

The atmosphere at the Paris Show is going to be electric… thanks to the Renault-Nissan Alliance.

Both companies will be showing a number of pure electric vehicles – some already in production, some future concepts – proving that the Alliance really is the world leader when it comes to zero emission mobility.

At the same time, both companies will be spending time dispelling some of the myths that have grown up around electric vehicles.

To discover the truth make sure you bookmark this blog and keep returning during the show. We’ve lined up experts to answer all your questions and to explain why zero emission mobility isn’t the future… it’s now.

You’ll also be able to see some of the exciting EVs news coming from the Alliance, notably the dramatic Nissan TeRRA FCEV concept. It is a pure electric vehicle, but its batteries are powered by hydrogen using Nissan’s latest ultra efficient fuel cell stack.

Nissan will also be showing the latest Pivo concept. Pivo 3 is a battery powered city car that’s brighter than most. It has an automated parking system that finds a space and drives off to park itself. It will even come back to find you when it’s time to move on!

Renault’s spotlight will fall on ZOE, which is just about to reach the showrooms. ZOE is perfect for the city. It’s compact on the outside yet roomy inside, while its battery recharging system is quick and easy. It takes a 30 minute quick charge to reach 80 per cent capacity… or just three minutes from empty to full with the unique ‘Quickdrop’ battery exchange programme.

Remember, to find out more about ZOE and all the other Alliance EV news, keep popping back to our blog.
