Renault e.dams win Berlin ePrix

Renault e.dams enjoyed a strong second race in the Berlin ePrix double header thanks to a victory from Séb Buemi and an eighth position from Nico Prost. Not only that, they extended their lead in the Teams' Championship, while Séb Buemi remains the man to beat in the Drivers' standings with a commanding advantage.
 

The second race of the Berlin ePrix double-header opened under blue skies with warmer conditions than yesterday. Séb Buemi clocked an outstanding lap of 1:07.712s in FP3, which was the fastest laptime of the weekend, while Nico Prost was P10. The final free practice session saw Séb Buemi post the third quickest time with Nico Prost in seventh.

Renault e.dams leave the Berlin ePrix with 229 points under their belt: Séb Buemi holds a convincing lead in the Drivers' Championship with 157 points while Nico Prost has dropped to fourth behind Rosenqvist with a total of 72 points. The next event will be held at a new venue: New York City, which features another double-header race weekend on July 15-16.
