The Renault-Nissan Alliance at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting of the New Champions

The Renault-Nissan Alliance is a strategic partner of the World Economic Forum, which recently summoned 1650 leaders from more than 80 countries in Dalian, People’s Republic of China.
 
Under the theme “Achieving Inclusive Growth in the Fourth Industrial Revolution”, the Annual Meeting of the New Champions gathered influencers from business, government, academia, civil society and leaders from across the science and technology communities to share strategic insights and lead several discussions on innovation, entrepreneurship, international trade and sustainable development.
 
François Provost, SVP, Chairman of Asia Pacific Region, Groupe Renault & CEO of DRAC (Dongfeng Renault Automotive Company) led the Alliance delegation, and was a panelist in one of the opening sessions on June 27th:  “Strategic Update : The Mobility System”.
 
François Provost, Guillaume Sicard and Nishibayashi-san also participated in meetings focused on autonomous transportation, new mobility models, economic growth and sustainable development in China and Asia Pacific region.
 
The World Economic Forum is an independent international organization committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas. Incorporated as a not-for-profit foundation in 1971 and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, the Forum is widely seen as the most important business summit worldwide.
