GT-R LM NISMO: the hybrid racer with its sights set on Le Mans

After making its world debut during the high-profile Super Bowl XLIX commercial break, Nissan's hybrid GT-R LM NISMO race car makes it first physical appearance at the Chicago Auto Show, from 14th to 22nd February, where visitors will be able to get a closer look at the innovative design.

DHL takes delivery of Nissan e-NV200 vans in Italy

DHL takes delivery of Nissan e-NV200 vans in Italy

FIFTY Nissan e-NV200 electric vans are being sent to DHL in Italy after a collaborative agreement was signed by Nissan Italia and the delivery firm for zero-emission operations.

The all-electric vans have started arriving and will be used for dispatches and deliveries in the Mediterranean country, beginning in Milan and Rome. Florence, Verona, Bologna, Naples, Salerno, Bari and Catania will follow suit in introducing e-NV200 to the fleets there.

Sunderland, UK, January 20, 2015:  HRH The Prince of Wales visited Nissan's Sunderland plant today to see production of the 100% electric Nissan LEAF and to learn about the Nissan Skills Foundation, a job-creation programme.  

His Royal Highness has a relationship with the plant that dates back almost 30 years.

Nissan rises to 56th place in Interbrand study, up from 65th last year
Value of the Nissan brand increases by 23% to $7.623 billion
 
Nissan has been named one of the world's most valuable brands for 2014, according to Interbrand, the world-leading brand consultancy. In the Best Global Brands Study, released today by Interbrand, Nissan ranked 56, up from 65 in 2013. The study cited the strength of Nissan’s financial performance, product portfolio and leadership position in electric vehicles among the drivers of the company’s brand health. The value of the Nissan brand was estimated at $7.623 billion, an increase from last year's estimated value of nearly $6.2 billion.

Renault & Nissan announce senior management changes

Renault and Nissan have announced major senior management changes. Effective Oct. 1, 2014, Bruno Ancelin is appointed Executive Vice President, Product Planning and Programs of the Renault group. He will replace Philippe Klein. Ancelin will join the Renault Executive Committee and report to Thierry Bolloré, Renault’s Chief Competitive Officer.

Philippe Klein has been appointed Chief Planning Officer of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., effective Sept. 15, 2014. He will replace Andy Palmer, who is leaving the company. Klein will report to Carlos Ghosn, President and Chief Executive Officer of Nissan, and join the Nissan Executive Committee.
