The City of London – the heart of the capital’s financial district – has undergone a clean up, courtesy of Nissan.
 
It’s down to a hugely successful trial of Nissan’s forthcoming 100 per cent electric van, the e-NV200, carried out by the City of London Corporation, the local authority services provider for the Square Mile. Promising no emissions, virtually no noise and low running costs, e-NV200 will be put into full production next year.
 
The prototype van gained universally positive feedback from fleet drivers and members of the Corporation’s senior management team, who all took the wheel during the week-long trial.
