Renault's Kangoo Z.E. has reached the milestone of 10,000 vehicles registered, reflecting the popularity of this versatile, zero-emission van. Launched at the end of 2011, the Kangoo Z.E. has become Europe's top-selling small electric van and represents around 10 percent of all Kangoo sales.

A special ceremony was held at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 10th to mark the 10,000th registration. 

Representatives from Renault, including Electric Vehicle Programme Manager Béatrice Foucher, officially handed over the keys of this landmark Kangoo Z.E. to Gerhard Dech, Purchasing and Technical Director at Deutsche Bahn (German Railways), where the vehicle will be used by maintenance staff.

The Kangoo Z.E. has consistently been heralded as a success by both customers and the media. In 2012, it was acclaimed International Van of the Year, while user feedback shows that 95% of customers are satisfied with the van. In France, it is the country's best-selling electric vehicle.
