Electric vehicles have adopted a new role as promoters of social and economic change thanks to a car sharing scheme in the French city of Reims – and the Renault ZOE and Twizy were selected to launch the service.

Renault is joining forces with French electric vehicle specialist Bolloré to accelerate the spread of zero-emission EVs in Europe. The partnership covers three projects with the specific aim of reducing the environmental impact of conventionally powered cars.

What happens when two green practices meet? A merged service is created that lets consumers have the best of both worlds: convenience and eco-responsibility. Such is the case with the advent of electric car sharing, a natural evolution of existing car sharing programs that is sweeping the globe.
