Nissan LEAF, the world’s best-selling electric vehicle, celebrates its fifth anniversary this month.  

Producers of battery-powered electric vehicles are joining forces to further the popularity of zero emission cars and vans. A coalition of car makers, led by the Renault-Nissan Alliance and including BMW and VW, are helping to finance a number of Europe-wide rapid charge networks forming part of the EU’s Trans-European Transport Network programme (TEN-T).
