Connecticut unveils rebates for EV leasers, buyers and sellers
Residents of Connecticut, USA will soon benefit from significant financial incentives to buy or lease EVs thanks to a new state-wide initiative. A $1 million fund will be used to attribute rebates of up to $3,000 to local inhabitants, businesses and municipalities.

New law set to boost charging network in Washington state
The EV charging network in Washington state, USA, has been given a major boost thanks to new legislation that incentivizes utility companies to install charging stations. Following the passing of the law, the state's utility companies can now rate-base investments in charging stations and infrastructure. This means they can pass costs on to ratepayers, and are therefore guaranteed the same rate of return as for more conventional investments, such as transmission and distribution networks.

Massachusetts EV initiative given funding boost

Residents of Massachusetts in the United States will continue to benefit from an important state-wide EV rebate programme thanks to the injection of an additional $2 million by local authorities. The initiative allows locals to receive up to $2,500 for the purchase or lease of zero-emission and plug-in hybrid light-duty vehicles.

Nissan delivers 75,000th all-electric LEAF in the U.S. to Oregon family
Nissan celebrated with Rishabh Mehandru of Portland, Oregon, as he purchased the 75,000th Nissan LEAF in the United States. This is Mehandru's second Nissan LEAF after leasing his first one two years ago in an effort to reduce the emissions he was putting into the air.

Nissan and FedEx Express to test all-electric e-NV200 in U.S.

Why Nissan's 99,999th LEAF customer went electric

Amy Eichenberger of Charlottesville, Virginia in the US became the 99,999th global Nissan LEAF customer when she purchased her 100 percent electric vehicle (EV) at Colonial Nissan. 
 
Amy, a 47-year-old mother of two, wasn’t even in the market for a new car. Then she spotted a University of Virginia colleague’s Nissan LEAF and decided she wanted to know more about the “modern-looking, futuristic and progressive” car.
