Renault-Nissan to provide 15,000 vehicles in exclusive international contract with Danone - 05/07/2012
PARIS (July 5, 2012)--The Renault-Nissan Alliance will provide 15,000 vehicles in an exclusive fleet contract with the Paris-based nutritional food company Danone. The first-of-its-kind deal for the Alliance provides a full range of vehicles to Danone in 25 countries for at least five years.

Renault-Nissan Alliance and Russian Technologies agree to create joint venture to acquire a majority stake in AVTOVAZ - 03/05/2012
• Renault-Nissan and state corporation Russian Technologies will form joint venture to accelerate product launches and technology transfer to AVTOVAZ, Russia’s largest carmaker.
• Renault-Nissan will invest about US$750 million, and Russian Technologies will favorably restructure debt as they form the joint venture.
• Renault-Nissan will get a majority stake in the joint venture, which will control AVTOVAZ; transaction is expected to be complete in 2014. -

His Majesty King Mohammed VI today inaugurated the new Renault-Nissan Alliance plant in Tangier, Morocco, at a special ceremony attended by Carlos Ghosn, Chairman of Renault and Nissan.
• The new Renault-Nissan plant in Tangier represents an investment of €1 billion.
• The new plant’s annual production capacity of 400,000 vehicles will play a part in ensuring the continued success of the Entry range across the world.
• The Tangier factory is the world's first zero carbon and zero effluent automotive plant.
• It is the southern Mediterranean basin's biggest automotive plant, with an estimated total staff of more than 6,000 by 2015. -
Renault-Nissan Alliance posts record sales in 2011 for third consecutive year - 01/02/2012
