NEXT TWO - the Renault that drives itself

NEXT TWO - the Renault that drives itself
It sounds like science fiction. You program an app on your Smartphone and your car leaves its parking space at a predetermined time and drives to your front door before taking you to your destination. All by itself.

You can sit back and read, work, phone a friend or use the on-board high speed internet to catch up on the TV programme you’ve missed while your car does all the hard work. It’s safe, stress free and saves time and fuel… but it’s not science fiction – it’s science fact.

Introducing the autonomous valet

Imagine the scene: you’re about to leave home … but it’s pouring with rain and the car is parked on the next street. Wouldn’t it be perfect if someone could bring the car to the front door to save you getting soaked? But there’s no need to employ a valet. In the near future, your Renault electric vehicle may do just that, autonomously.

Turning the “sunlight” on ZOE, Twizy and Kangoo Z.E. in Reunion
Renault’s electric vehicles are currently available in 18 countries and continue to be launched in markets around the world. The rollout process will now be accompanied by a monthly saga article. The first focuses on the island of Reunion, where ZOE, Twizy and Kangoo Z.E. recently arrived in Renault dealerships.

Local conditions in the new market led to the development of solar panel-powered charging stations, an innovative solution that means Renault electric vehicles here can run and charge in zero-emission mode.
