The milestone was reached earlier this month and comes four years after the launch of the Nissan LEAF, the world’s first mass-market electric vehicle. Nissan LEAF remains the best-selling electric vehicle in history.

To capture what the first 200,000 consumers love about their electric vehicles, the Alliance has launched a series of videos featuring EV owners on three continents. “I Made the Switch” tells why people bought their electric vehicles and how switching to a zero-emission vehicle has changed their lives.

Nissan offers free public charging for new LEAF buyers in Chicago
Chicagoans can now add free public charging to the long list of benefits of buying an all-electric Nissan LEAF. Nissan recently launched its "No Charge to Charge" promotion that provides two years of no-cost public charging with the purchase or lease of a new LEAF from Nissan dealers in the Chicago market. This includes complimentary access to fast chargers that can charge a LEAF battery pack from zero to 80 percent in about 30 minutes.
