Biography

Simon Sproule is Communications Director for the Renault-Nissan Alliance, a position he has held since September 2009.

Prior to this role, Sproule served as Corporate Vice President of Global Communications for Nissan Motor Company, based in Japan. With 18 years of auto industry experience, Sproule first's position was with Ford Motor Company in the UK.

In 1998, Simon Sproule was moved to Ford's global operations in Dearborn Michigan followed by an appointment in 2000 leading communications in North America for Jaguar first, then adding Aston Martin and Land Rover to his responsibilities in 2001.

In 2003, he joined Nissan North America as the Vice President of Communications, moving to the company's headquarters in Tokyo the following year. Simon Sproule is a UK national and graduated from the University of London with a bachelor of science in geography.
