Jean-Marie Hurtiger
Biography
Jean-Marie Hurtiger was born on January 4, 1951.
A civil engineer, he graduated from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées engineering school in 1973 and gained an MBA from Insead in 1993.
He joined Renault in October 1988 as head of industrial planning in the Manufacturing Department. In 1990 he went to the Delta group's planning department to manage a project to cut vehicle development times.
In 1992 he was made Director of International Projects in the International Operations Department, becoming Director of Industrial Development in 1994.
In 1996 he took over as Director for the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Baltic countries and a year later for Northern Latin America.
In 1999, he was appointed X90 Project Director.
In May 2006, Jean-Marie Hurtiger was appointed CEO of Renault Samsung Motors.
